Update April 15, 2025
Willow Green parking and idling around in front of the community beside red painted curbs or on red painted hashed areas on pavement is prohibited. We understand that children are being picked up at the bus stop from school. However, parking in these areas causes congestion at the front of the community making it difficult or impossible for vehicles to safely enter the neighborhood. In addition cars have been seen parking on both sides of the street at community entrance, compounding the issue. Temporary Parking and idling should be on one side of the street past the entrance and past red painted curbs and pavement. Please take others into consideration and refrain from parking in these areas. The board is investing in security cameras and will be issuing fines if we find repeat offenses.
Parents - Please be responsible for your children and there actions. Several community member have come forward and complained about there yards or patios having children play in them. Please note that patios and back yards are not common areas and belong to the residents of Willow Green. Some children have even been witnessed trying to open car doors in an attempt to find unlocked vehicles. This is violation of the community rules. Please address this with children before the board is forced to take action against a resident. This community is shared and with our neighbors who need to be respected. Please report any thefts to the HOA Board and the Newport News Police Departments
